GEOTHERMAL WELLS

A geothermal well is part of an environmentally friendly, yet efficient system of heating and cooling your home, by "tapping" in on the earth's constant, moderate temperature that exists below the ground's surface. Water or an antifreeze-like solution is circulated through plastic pipes that run the length of the well, into your home and through the system. This transfer of heat to and from the earth, allows you to heat your home in the winter and cool it in the summer.
